Completing Internal Jobs

Once you have finished posting labour and materials to an internal job, you complete the job by transferring the job's combined costs for raw materials and labour (Work In Progress – WIP) to MGL using the POST TO MGL menu option on the Internal Job Entry screen. This posts the job costs to the appropriate General Ledger accounts as setup in the GL interface record entered in the GL Interface field on the Enter Internal Job screen.

 

Technical Tip

If you want to complete a number of internal jobs, it is easier to process the completions in a batch - refer to "Transactions – Complete Internal Jobs".
